Introduction

The use of civdb ("the Site") requires the collection of some specific user data ("Data"). By using the Site and authenticating via Discord, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

Data Collected

Data collected includes, but is not limited to:

• Discord user ID, username, and avatar
• Linked Minecraft username
• Content you submit (comments, pledges, campaigns, guides)
• Session data required for authentication

How Data is Used

Your Data is used solely for the operation of the Site. This includes displaying your profile, attributing your contributions, and enabling site features. Data is not sold, provided to, or shared with any third party, except where required by law.

Access to Data

Access to Data is only permitted to the Site's administrators, and only in the scope required for the development, testing, and implementation of features for the Site.

Storage of Data

Data is stored in a SQLite database on the server. The database is secured to prevent external access, however no guarantee is provided and the Site owners assume no liability for the unintentional or malicious breach of Data. In the event of an unauthorised Data access, users will be notified through available channels.

Discord Integration

The Site uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. When you sign in, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar from Discord. We do not have access to your Discord password, messages, or servers. Please refer to the Discord Privacy Policy for information on how Discord handles your data.

Cookies

The Site uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

User Rights

At any time, you have the right to:

• Request to view the Data pertaining to your account
• Request the removal of your Data
• Delete your account and associated content

To exercise these rights, contact a Site administrator.

Underage Users

The use of the Site is not permitted for minors under the age of 13, or under the age of legal consent for their country. This is in compliance with the Discord Terms of Service. No information will be knowingly stored from an underage user. If it is found that a user is underage, all necessary action will be taken to delete the stored data.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
