Getting Started
Essential Gear
- πͺ Silk Touch Pickaxe (Required)
- 𧱠Scaffolding (Optional)
- π‘ Use
/gamma if you donβt want to bring torches
- β οΈ Watch out for mobs!
Where to Mine
- Avoid urban areas β head to the ocean and dig down
How to Begin
- Dig to Y -35
- Start mining in a straight line until you get a Vein Notification
π When a Vein Notification Pops Up
π Step 1: Mark the Block
- Identify the exact block that triggered the notification
- Place a marker block (e.g., dirt, cobble) on top
𧱠Step 2: Mine a 13Γ13Γ7 Cuboid
- Centered on the marked block
- 13Γ13 area (radius 6) horizontally
- 3 blocks up and 3 down for full vertical coverage
π Step 3: If No Further Vein is Found
- Rare case: expand to 13Γ13Γ11 by digging 2 more blocks up and down
β»οΈ Step 4: Repeat for Every Notification
- Do this even for gold, redstone, and lapis notifications
- These can interrupt or connect to diamond veins
βοΈ Mining Tips
πͺ Netherite Pickaxe Advantages
- +40% vein generation chance
- +100% average ore per generation
- Can trigger multiple ore spawns from a single notification
- π° Highly recommended β buy from MG Pickaxes
π§ Vein Structure
- Not flat or disc-shaped
- Veins branch like roots, often vertically
- Always mine the full cuboid to uncover all ores
π Efficiency & Logistics
π Spacing Strategy
- If a 200-block line yields nothing, shift 50+ blocks before starting a new line
π§° Tool Resources
- Enchanted picks available on Main Street
- Iron Forge sells cheap bulk anvils
- Diamond Pickaxe Factory offers repair tools in bulk
βοΈ Ore Processing
- Once you stockpile ores, consider paying for access to the Elite Ore Smelter β yields much better ore returns
π¦ Ore Yield Expectations
- βοΈ Average: 1β2 stacks per full vein
- π Max Recorded: ~1500 ores from one vein
- βοΈ Netherite tools significantly increase both spawn and yield rates dramatically (40%)
